Located in Angleton, Texas, the Law Office of Faye Gordon was created in 1989 for the purpose of providing affordable, effective legal remedies for families and individuals. We take the time to listen, and we treat our clients like family. The firm provides legal counsel for the following areas of law:
Attorney Faye Gordon earned her law degree in 1988 from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Texas Southern University. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she earned a Master’s of Public Administration from Texas Southern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Jarvis Christian College. Before opening her own legal practice in 1989, Ms. Gordon worked as a school teacher with the Brazosport Independent School District and for Aramco Oil Company.
A resident of Brazoria County since 1977, Ms. Gordon is strongly committed to serving the people of our area. She has served on numerous local charitable Board of Directors, including Angleton Greater Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Center of Brazoria County, Brazoria County Head Start, and Brazoria County Boys and Girls Club.
Currently, she is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Josie Scott has served as the firm’s legal assistant since 2001. Originally from Bay City, Texas, Josie has a background rich in criminal law. She plans to pursue a career as a probation officer.
